Casa Convite is the first place in Oaxaca that promotes the culture around mezcal. It has four areas:

 

 

 

The idea is to inform the public about the process of making a mezcal, from the production until the certification as well as the legal requirements for complying with the Mexican official norm NOM-070 and the Designation of Origin. This exhibition also shows the sustainability of the brand and the rescuing of wild agaves.

 

 

    Room created for the sensorial appreciation of the mezcal. Mezcal tastings of around 45 minutes are offered, in which the participants learn about the different varieties of mezcal agave varieties from Oaxaca, their yield and years of maturity. Restaurant with Oaxacan tapas based on tetelas, you can eat dishes from the eight regions of Oaxaca, with a different notion where the ingredients are 100% local. The concept was created by chef Olga Cabrera, a well-known traditional cook.

Hidden in the restaurant you can find a wood counter manually carved by Oaxacan artist Olegario Hernández, a grand master in popular arts. 

The cocktails were developed by Ismael Martínez “El Pollo”, one of the best bartenders in the country. You can find signature cocktails as well as classic cocktails based on mezcal.
